My blog is a whole year old today! Thank you so much for reading, sharing and supporting me here for the past year.
When I started this blog I wanted to create a place that was going to help me to live a better, more positive and creative life for my family and me. And it really has. Having the blog pushes me to do things I wake up planning to do but that can be easily put off when faced with the chaos of family life with three little ones, or the stresses of start-up life. It has encouraged me to record and preserve memories, which was one of my 12 aims for 2012. When I came to put together our yearly photobook last month I was so excited about the number of images I had of my little ones, and many of those were a direct result of wanting to share things here.
It has also really helped me to share the times that are tough. Not that I want it to be a place to moan or be all "poor old me" all the time but when I write about difficult things I often feel differently about it all, and definitely feel better. And the responses I get make me realise that I'm not on my own, which is always a good thing!
I have also met some lovely people around the world through blogging and that is a beautiful thing indeed.
I am really excited about things I have planned for this coming year and I hope you will continue to visit here. Thank you for helping me to get this far. x
